Perfect craft items for your home. Inspired by my classical training but made with modern techniques, each piece is truly unique. Much more than a job, cabinetmaking is a real passion for me. Every day I am grateful for the opportunity to create art, and I take no detours in applying it.

There are different methods of making cutting boards. The method I use, to make a board last a lifetime; after planing all surfaces to be glued, they are passed through a drum sander with a 60 or 80 grit, to scratch the surface giving it a better gluing surface. This process is repeated for "end grain" boards. It is a time-consuming procedure, but it makes a big difference, making sure these joints never come loose!  But of course boards have to be properly maintained (see "Cutting board care" section.) The boards are then soaked in a quality mineral or organic MCT oil (coconut) , specially designed for food.  Then for the final touch, a mixture of organic waxes, beeswax and carnauba, are applied. Polishing and here is a cutting board of the highest quality . All boards come with small rubber feet and finger slots.

 

For all furniture, dovetail method, tenon-mortise retained by dowels are preferred, without excluding more common methods of screws, nails and biscuit joinery. .
